TEACHING STYLE:

My style of instruction begins with creating an enjoyable yoga experience, while incorporating in our weekly practice something new and something challenging. In planning and practicing, I keep each yogis’ physical needs in mind. Most importantly, I value each person’s presence as we practice yoga and briefly meditate on the deeper human experiences while becoming a micro community of support.

FAVORITE SONG:

One of my many favorite songs is Anthem by Leonard Cohen because “there is a crack in everything—that’s how the light gets in!”

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT HELENE

Some of the hobbies/activities that I enjoy are biking, knitting, playing the guitar at church, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, diving, traveling, learning new things, spending time with my family, and walking on the beach while experiencing the sounds and beauty of the ocean. I am motivated to experience the beauty of God found in creation and in each person.

This intense, fast-paced class provides the mind-body benefit of yoga exercise in a vigorous format to give you an overall conditioning class to improve balance, flexibility, and strength.
