TRAINING PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy on Fitness is to look at the person as a whole. It’s not just about looking good, but also about feeling good about who you are and what you’re capable of. I strive to educate my clients about their relationship with exercise and how they can accomplish those goals they set out for themselves. Fitness to me represents a journey. One that compasses body and mind. Overall I advocate being healthy and achieving wellness. Exercise for me also is about having fun while you achieve your goals.

When I started working with Sam I was new to exercise. Sam was able to engage me in a way that I’ve never been engaged with fitness before. I feel that the motivation I got from working with him helped me get through some initial hurdles that kept me out of the gym for a while. I feel stronger now, and more capable, and good about myself as a person. Changing my diet and exercising on a more frequent basis helped me get to this point, but I do recognize that professional coaching is a big part of my journey. As my trainer, Sam has empowered me to improve my life.
