TEACHING STYLE:

My goal is to meet members where they are in their fitness journey so that everyone feels successful when they leave the studio. I love being form-focused and offering options for everyone to achieve their best results and prevention of injury. At the same time, I keep it light hearted by being a little silly so members can de-stress! Oh…and I tend to sing during class – frequently!

FAVORITE SONG:

Honestly, I have no favorite! All music moves me (literally) and my motto is “music makes the world go round”.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT AIMEE

I have been an advocate for health and fitness since I was very young. I wanted to lift but didn’t have a job to pay for a membership. Hence, my first job was in the kids’ center of a local gym. I progressed from the kids’ center to the front desk and then in 1993 I got my first group fitness certification, and a few years later, my personal trainer certification. I am happily married for 23 years and have three very active children who keep us running non-stop.

BARRE FUSION

55 MINUTES


Increase overall strength, endurance, coordination, range of motion and flexibility through mindful movement. Barre Fusion is a low-impact total body work out that combines Pilates Movement Principles, Yoga and Dance. There is a strong focus on alignment and form as high-rep/small range of motion and isometric exercises tone and strengthen muscles. In addition to strength in stillness, larger dynamic movements are incorporated for cardio intervals. Props (optional) may include: hand weights, weighted bars, balls, bands, gliders, and magic circles. Barre Fusion is a fun way to get fit and focused!

VINYASA YOGA

Challenge your body and relax your mind in this moderate intensity, medium paced class. This well rounded all-level yoga class has something for everyone. You will connect flowing sequences to the steadiness of your breath. Attention to alignment is the focus as variations to the poses are introduced to grow your practice. Step into the flow, breathe, sweat, de-stress, and transform! This class will leave you feeling centered, empowered, and revitalized.

YOGA FUNDAMENTALS

55 MINUTES

Breathe and relax. An introduction to Yoga that is an accessibly paced, breath centered practice focusing on alignment and body awareness. Modifications are given as traditional Yoga poses are sequenced to increase flexibility and strength. All levels of Yogis looking for a meditative and renewing practice will benefit from this safe and accessible class.
