Take a relaxing dip. Take lessons solo or with a group. Or take to the water like an Olympic champion. Our aquatics program is designed to help members of all skill levels enjoy the water equally.
MICHAEL PHELPS SWIM SCHOOL
At the Michael Phelps Swim School, our goal is to help you develop physically and mentally, because everyone should be comfortable and relaxed in the water. Available at our Eldersburg, Towson, and White Marsh clubs, we offer classes on safety, stroke development, water sports and games, personal growth, and rescue.
Merritt Swimming is a year-round swim team program offering five levels of competition for swimmers aged 5–18. Available seven days a week, practice times vary according to level, with a focus on improving stroke form, endurance, and speed. We offer this program at our Towson and Eldersburg locations.
Not quite ready for Swim Team? Can’t commit to more than one day a week? Join our Pre-Swim Team group! Pre-Team focuses on further development of all four strokes, starts, and flip turns. Our sessions run throughout the year.
We offer an 18 and older Masters Swim Team with practices Fridays 6:00am–7:30am and Saturdays 7:00am–9:00am. Swim at your own pace. If you want to swim for exercise or stay competitive with swimming, this is for you.
Our Tri Club team offers advice on stroke technique and tips on open water swimming. We practice Monday nights 7:00pm–8:00pm.
Merritt Aquatics offers full and recertification lifeguarding certifications. After successful completion of the course, participants will be certified in American Red Cross lifeguarding, CPR and First aid.
