Working out doesn’t have to be boring! I like to bring a fun energy to class and make sure everyone feels welcomed and comfortable. Whether this is your first class or your 100th I want everyone to walk out of the room feeling empowered! My teaching style is motivating with a little laughter and I will definitely make sure you feel the burn to the very last minute of class. Can’t wait to see you at the barre 😉

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ALYSSA

I am an Elementary School Counselor and love working with children and families to support. I am motivated to help others in all ways, at work it is with children and at Merritt, it is helping adults feel good and strong. Working out has always been my outlet and helps me relieve stress. As much as I love working out I also love food!! I am a big foodie and love a good Italian pasta dish with a glass of wine or some yummy tacos with a margarita!

This mindfully intense class pulls from the principals of Pilates, the wisdom of yoga, the grace of dance, and the body sculpting benefits of traditional interval strength training. We strive to have every person who walks through our studio door feel inspired and empowered to transform their body to its full potential.

SOULBODY BARRE UNHITCHED

55 MINUTES

This mindfully intense class combines dynamic, isometric, and isotonic movements that work deep into the muscle, then transitions to deep stretches to balance the body. Using opposition in the body as well as isometric work with the Body Bar creates a more defined body with better balance and posture.

  • Improves functional strength for balance & mobility

INTENSITY:

SOULBODY BARRE POWER

30 MINUTES

SoulBody Power is a 30 minute cardio blast class that combines HIIT blocks with body-toning “barre” exercises to create that “perfect burn”! Get a full-body workout that keeps the heart rate elevated while strengthening and toning muscles and building a strong core.

  • Improves heart & lung fitness
