I have known Maria since I began working out at Merritt. Her spin class was the first Merritt group fitness class that I took. Maria makes one feel very comfortable immediately. However, don’t let that fool you; because she is pushing you hard all the time. Maria is well versed in all aspects of exercise and training. She has taught me a great deal in strength training, posture, mobility and endurance. She has been able to spot my weaknesses and to concentrate on improving those areas. You can tell in group classes that she keeps an eagle eye on every participant and readily offers quality constructive advice. All of this comes from an instructor who at all times is pleasant and has a ready smile for all.
