On 9/2/24 Express clubs will be staffed until 12pm & can be accessed anytime using keycards. All other clubs will operate regular hours.

A Simple 2-Step Guide to Keeping Your Why

Hello! Personal trainer KK here to let you know what fitness trends to be cognizant of as a beginner!

When it comes to the world of fitness, it’s so easy to become invested in the journey of others, especially through social media. I’m here to tell you never forget your very own WHY. Do you find yourself getting swarmed in the plethora of “day in the life” videos whether it’s someone working out, eating, recovering, etc.? To the point where if you sat down and self evaluated, you no longer have your own path mapped out and you are now mimicking someone else’s why? If you have found yourself agreeing with what was said, continue reading!

Step 1: DO know the difference of being inspired vs copy and paste.

Never stop receiving information for inspiration, but always stay true to what works for your body and make adjustments that are necessary to your personal reasons.

Step 2: DON’T complicate your plan when beginning.

Understand what your SMART goals are; Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound. Keep things challenging/doable, but always remain kind to yourself! Stay realistic yet determined and keep focused on your ultimate goal. Master the baby steps, appreciate the process and keep your WHY true to you!
