Kids Fitness
Now your kids can get a great workout at the club too. We offer a variety of fun interactive classes for children from three to ten years old. From Intensive Interval Training for younger kids to Yoga, where your children will increase flexibility and learn the basics of meditation to increase overall wellness.
Prepare your young adults for the gym floor with our Jr. Cert Program! All young, active members (11 to 15 y/o) need to complete this workshop before being allowed to use the pin-loaded machines. Our professional coaches and trainers would educate the young members on how to use the machines properly and get these young adult ready to learn how to move forward with their fitness.

Our Junior Fitness Certification is a one class certification offered free to members ages 11-15. The class is offered as a group 2 times monthly. There is a charge for individual certification programming. This program helps kids aged 11–15 get ready for the fitness floor and cardio equipment. Through classroom sessions and hands-on training, they’ll learn basic aerobic and resistance training principles, exercise etiquette, safety, nutrition, proper equipment use, and many other topics. Upon completing the Junior Fitness Certification, participants will be certified to use all the equipment in the club (excluding free weights) and can work out without a parent present for up to two hours.

Strength training, cardio, core and much more just for girls. This class built as a comfortable environment for a sometimes not so comfortable time of life. Our instructor will work with pre-teen and teen girls to help build confidence, physical strength, and a love for exercise and their own self being.
Sundays, 10:30-11:15am in the Barre Studio
KidFIIT Cardio/Core focuses on strengthening the body from the inside out. In this class we work on building a stronger heart while we get our blood pumping. We also include body weight exercises that create abdominal and back muscles essential for growth! Upbeat and fun fitness to help guide kids into the wonderful world of exercise.
Wednesdays, 5:30-6:00pm in Boxing Studio
Fun Intensive Interval Training for younger kids. This group session teaches appropriate ways to build the heart through cardio fitness and basic strength training in a fun environment.
Thursdays, 5:30-6:00pm in Barre Studio
It’s time for your little ones to stretch their legs and exert some energy. Through games, dance, play and exercise – we are teaching our youngest Merritt members that Fitness is Fun!

Stress has no age restriction! Yoga is a great way to de-stress and increase flexibility. During this class, children will learn the basics of yoga as well as meditation.

Zumba for kids is everything you love about the dance-based exercise program that exploded in popularity in the early 2000’s. Modifications have been made in Zumba for kids to build cardiovascular fitness, muscle coordination and inspire self confidence in your children!
Drop your kids off for this fun interactive class! Your children will play age-appropriate games, learn basic exercises, and have fun!
While you workout, let the kids throw some punches at Merritt Club’s Boxing sessions. Open for all kids 6 to 10 years old. Each session will take young athletes through drills and exercises to helo increase any combination of strength, speed, and coordination with a focus on boxing to help improve focus and athleticism.
Drop-off is at the Cardio Cinema (upstairs, past the Unleash studio). The first session is free
