I’ve been working out for 20 years or more and always thought I knew what I was doing. I didn’t need any help. Okay, well that may have been true in my 20’s but now in my 40’s I have hit a plateau. Putting weight on is very easy. Keeping it off, not so much. Before, I could spend 30 minutes on a treadmill and the weight would stay off. Now, 40 minutes on the treadmill and some strength exercises for 20-30 minutes a few times a week and I don’t see any results.
I was afraid to hire a personal trainer. The cost was always something I was afraid to commit to and it was always a little intimidating to work one-on-one with a trainer who would be pushing me to my limit. But I soon realized I had to do something. I had become one of those people who spent their 45-60 minutes in the gym, went right to the treadmill for 30 minutes then lifted some weights. Nothing new and I was wondering why I wasn’t seeing any results. I felt like I was wasting 60 minutes of my day.
THEN CAME TRIBE. All I can say is hallelujah. Tribe Team Training is the answer to my prayers. I took Tribe Life at White Marsh and WOW. Tribe Life is a 50-minute functional training group workout. It is something different every workout. It really gave me what I needed to jump off my plateau. I am doing exercises I never imagined I could do and all for a fraction of the cost of one-on-one personal training.
Why do I love Tribe? As I said, it is a fraction of the cost of one-on-one training but I am still getting the guidance and motivation I need as I would with a trainer. I love the group setting because it pushes me to do more just when I think I can’t. I don’t want to let my team down. Plus (a little selfish), when I look around and see others doing it, I think, “She’s doing it, I can do it too.” And WOW what an amazing work out. I would tell anyone they should definitely try Tribe. Merritt is launching Tribe Team Training at White Marsh and Canton on September 7th and you can try a week of Tribe absolutely free September 12-18.
I’m signing up for sure!!!
